How to Use Drafts

Pixie is mobile, always meant to be on the go with you, especially during your busiest days. When new family information surfaces at any given moment, sometimes you don’t have the time - or, let’s be honest, even just the mental capacity - to decide where to put that new piece of family information.

Drafts

This is what Drafts is for - a catch-all space to quickly capture any item that you don’t have the time to organize yet. Pixie is here to help you safely store all of your family information as it comes up throughout the day no matter what situation you find yourself in.

Any items you create when outside a Pixie board will automatically save to your Drafts.

To save an item as a draft:

1. Navigate out of your boards to the main My boards or Drafts page

2. Tap the “Add” button in the bottom navigation bar

3. Create the item

Real-life example

What does this look like in real life? Let’s say you’re in the middle of prepping dinner and your son pulls out this month’s new school calendar with important dates and activities. Instead of placing it in your pile of random papers, or worrying about where it needs to be organized in Pixie, quickly snap a picture of it, save it to Drafts, and get back to dinner prep.

This is such a great way to divert that mental stress! Rest easy knowing you can always find and access your family information later.

To organize or to not organize

Later, when you have more time to think through organizing, easily move your drafts to their appropriate Pixie boards. Or if you prefer, just leave them in Drafts! Pixie is customizable to how and when you like to organize.

The next time you’re in a pinch and tempted to create a new mental pin, simply use Drafts instead to offload the mental stress.
